I updated to VirtualBox 3.2 but could not get my virtual computer to login without reverting to safe mode. I looked for the upgrade because my virtual window was constantly showing black areas until I moused over them to force them to re-draw. Version 3.2 was even worse. I reverted back to 3.18 and at least I can use the computer now.

ApplicationI certainly have not tried all of the remote desktop applications available for the iPad. I had tried another one previously for the iPhone and found it difficult to use on such a small screen. The iPad has a lot more real estate to work with. I spent my $9 and tried one with positive reviews. There are several flavors of remote desktop. I prefer the ones where you do not need to install extra software on the host computer. For me that limits the select to Remote Desktop clients for Windows and VNV clients for Mac.

To answer that question we must first answer the question Why do we need anti-virus software? The answer to that question is pretty simple. Engineers tend to design things to work and then stop. The exception to this is NASA who has to plan for every possible contingency and then make sure their design will survive.
